Dear Brother
I will try and answer your letter I got yesterday and was glad to hear from you
I am well and hope you are the same we are having a cold rain down here to day
and it is pretty cold, it is cold enough for winter under wear but we haven't
changed yet.
I guess it is time to hunt, night hunt up there now. I wish I was up there
to go hunting. every time you get a chance to go hunting take a gabe with
you. What is Jr. Garrison going to do with that car I guess he will break
his neck before long. is he running it now how is the tires on it have you
road with him. Can he handle it. What did his Daddy say because he
bought it. I guess you all have a good time in that car. I would
like to run him a race with my old Pontica. I bet I could out run him in
that old Chevelot of Cecil. Just before I come in the Army I was over at
Free Union and me and Pauline went down at Free Union store and she was talking
to some boys down there. I had the Mufle off and when we left the store I
was Mad as I could be the boys had thier foot proped up on the running
board. I just put it in Low geer and mached the gass to the floor board
and almost knocked them down when I got up on that dirt road up next to Mildreds
W. house it was doing 83 miles hour. and was from one side of the road to the
other I though I would reck it before I got back up to Richard S. Pauline was
just screaming She just begged me to drive slow. and the more she begged the
faster I droved the dust was just rolling that was the fasted I have ever saw
that car. the next time you see her ask her a bout it. I use to
scare her to death. Let me tell you something. Don't go with no girl
regular and don't pay no attention to them what they say.
We could have had a good time while I was at home if it won't from that old bich.
Why don't you and Jr. Garrison go over and get Pauline and Mildred some
time. If I ever get out of the army I bet I don't go with no girl
regular. If I was you and Jr. G I would go over there and get them some
time you can have a good time with them. Have you ever drove that car of
Jr. G. I bet he drives fast Did Mama get that Post card folder that is part of
Camp Wheeler and part of Macon. I got to macon a lot it ant but 7
